Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday-Friday, plus out-of-hours on-call rota
Our client is looking for an experienced Multi Trade Plumber to join their Responsive Repairs team, covering social housing properties across the SL and RG postcode areas.
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering the chance to secure a permanent position with a well-established contractor following a successful temporary period. You'll be provided with a company van, fuel card, tools, and full support to carry out high-quality responsive repairs and maintenance within occupied properties.

The Role
As a Multi Trade Plumber, you'll carry out responsive plumbing repairs and general maintenance across occupied social housing properties, delivering a high standard of workmanship and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out domestic plumbing repairs and maintenance.
Diagnose and repair leaks, blockages and faulty plumbing systems.
Install and replace sanitary ware including toilets, basins, baths, shower trays and showers.
Install kitchen sinks, taps and associated pipework.
Install and repair copper, plastic (Speedfit) and waste pipework.
Repair and replace taps, ball valves, stop taps and other plumbing fixtures.
Carry out repairs to hot and cold water systems, drainage and heating pipework.
Work on vented and unvented hot water cylinders (HWSS or equivalent desirable).
Install and repair domestic appliances including showers and washing machine connections.
Carry out cold water storage tank maintenance and replacements where required.
Complete general multi-trade repairs including basic carpentry, patch plastering, wall and floor tiling, painting and decorating where required.
Accurately complete job sheets using a handheld device linked to a live scheduling system.
Manage your own workload effectively while maintaining excellent customer service within residents' homes.
Work safely at all times, following company Health & Safety procedures.
About You
NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent).
Previous experience as a Multi Trade Plumber carrying out responsive maintenance.
Social Housing or occupied property maintenance experience is highly desirable.
Competent across a range of secondary trades including basic carpentry, tiling, plaster patching and decorating.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Willingness to participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota.
