£19.39 per hour
Start Date: 24th August
Initial 1-Month Temporary Assignment
37.5 Hours per Week, 5 days between Monday to Sunday
Are you an experienced Multi Trade Operative looking for your next opportunity? We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading student accommodation provider for a skilled Multi Trade Operative to support the maintenance and upkeep of student residential properties across London.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy facilities team, carrying out a variety of maintenance and repair tasks within occupied student accommodation buildings.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out responsive repairs and maintenance across student accommodation properties.
Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) works.
Diagnose and rectify building defects and maintenance issues.
Complete electrical and general multi-trade maintenance tasks.
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with health and safety legislation.
Conduct dynamic risk assessments before undertaking work.
Maintain accurate records through digital job management systems.
Identify and report additional maintenance requirements.
Deliver a high standard of workmanship and customer service at all times.
Ensure properties remain safe, secure, warm and fully operational for residents.Skills & Experience Required
Previous experience working as a Multi Trade Operative, Maintenance Operative, Facilities Technician or similar.
Practical experience within construction, maintenance or facilities management environments.
NVQ Level 2 in Electrical or Plumbing.
Additional trade qualifications (plumbing, carpentry, painting & decorating, etc.) would be advantageous.
Good understanding of health and safety regulations and safe systems of work.
Competent in the safe use of tools and equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
