Description:
Our client is seeking experienced Multi-Trade Operatives to join their growing maintenance team, delivering reactive repairs, planned maintenance and void works across residential properties.
This is a mobile role, working from a fully equipped company van across Southampton, Portsmouth, Winchester, Basingstoke, Reading and surrounding areas.
The Role
You'll carry out a varied workload including:
* Reactive maintenance and planned works
* Void property refurbishments
* Carpentry, plumbing and general multi-trade repairs
* Kitchen and bathroom repairs/installations
* Tiling, flooring, plaster patching and making good
* Wet wall panelling and bathroom cladding
* Basic UPVC window and door repairs
You'll manage your workload using a job management system, updating job progress, recording materials, uploading photos and completing clear job reports.
Requirements
Applicants must have:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in property maintenance or as a Multi-Trade Operative
* Strong carpentry skills (essential)
* Good all-round maintenance experience including basic plumbing, kitchens, bathrooms, tiling and general repairs
* Experience working in occupied residential properties
* Full UK driving licence
* Own hand tools
Desirable
* Social housing or responsive repairs experience
* Kitchen and bathroom programme experience
* Wet wall/AquaBoard installation
* UPVC repair experience
* NVQ or relevant trade qualifications
* CSCS Card and Asbestos Awareness
* Experience using job management software
