Multi Trade Operative
Location: Guildford
Up to £40,660 + Company Van + Fuel Card
Are you an experienced Multi Trader looking for a permanent role we are recruiting on behalf of a leading national property maintenance contractor for skilled Multi Trade Operatives professionals to join a long-term social housing contract covering Guildford and the surrounding areas.
As a Multi Trader Operative, you'll carry out reactive repairs and maintenance within occupied residential properties, ensuring homes remain safe, well maintained and compliant. You'll receive your work through a PDA, work independently across your designated area and deliver an outstanding service to residents.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out high-quality plastering repairs
Complete basic plumbing repairs and minor installations
Undertake basic carpentry and joinery repairs
Perform a variety of general maintenance and multi-trade works
Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
Deliver excellent customer service within occupied homes
Ensure all work complies with health & safety and quality standards
Accurately update jobs using a PDA system
What We're Looking For
Experience working as a Multi Trade Operative within social housing, repairs or property maintenance
Strong plastering skills (NVQ Level 2 preferred)
Good knowledge of plumbing and carpentry
Experience working in tenanted properties
Ability to work independently and manage your workload
Confident using handheld PDA devices
NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 (or equivalent)
Full UK driving licence
DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
Excellent customer service and communication skills
