Description:
We are currently recruiting for a company based in Sheffield who offer mobility and access solutions within the home for people with mobility and disability issues and concerns. With this role no 2 days are the same, with plenty of variety, it is challenging within a driven and positive environment.
Main duties will be as follows;
Completing the insulation of domestic equipment within the home, care home.
Possible of toilet seat fittings, sinks and other bathroom solutions.
Joinery work - widening doorways, ramps, provision of stud wall etc...
Cut and trim work.
Joist work.
Stairlift installation.
Ceiling tracks for hoists.
Tiling and plastering duties.
Groundwork preparation.
Paving and slabbing.
Additional duties will be as and when - taking refuse to the tip, removing waste. Painting and decorating.
The successful candidate does not need to have qualifications in all areas, possibly possess knowledge of plumbing, along with being a strong DIY all rounder. The key is to offer a can-do attitude, and look for solutions along with thinking outside the box and going the extra mile.
Within the role some work will be on your own, some with other trade support workers. A van will be included in the role, workwear and various tools.
The working week is Monday - Friday, core office hours.
Due to the nature of going into vulnerable people properties an enhanced DBS may be required.
