As a Multi Trade Operative, you'll be working on void properties across Luton, carrying out refurbishment and maintenance works to bring homes back up to lettable standard. This opportunity is with a well-established property maintenance contractor that has a strong presence within the social housing sector. Known for delivering high-quality repairs and refurbishment projects, they offer long-term stability, ongoing support, and opportunities for progression.
I'd be keen to speak to anyone with experience as a Multi Trade Operative, Multi Skilled Operative, Property Maintenance Operative, or Void Operative within social housing.
As a Multi Trade Operative, you will be:
• Completing refurbishment works within void properties
• Carrying out basic carpentry, plumbing, painting, decorating, and patch plastering repairs
• Preparing properties for new tenants to a high standard
• Identifying additional maintenance requirements and reporting them accordingly
• Working independently to complete jobs efficiently and safely
• Delivering excellent workmanship across a variety of residential properties
I'd love to speak to anyone who has:
• An NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in a core trade such as Carpentry, Plumbing, Plastering, or Painting & Decorating
• Previous experience working within social housing maintenance
• Experience carrying out void property refurbishments
• A full UK driving licence
• Strong customer service and communication skills
