Multi Trade Carpenter

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out or assist with installation & maintenance of heating systems, which will include manual handling of associated equipment.

• Cutting open walls and structures to expose pipes.

• Measuring, cutting, and threading pipes.

• Tracing pipework & preparing the work area.

• Carry out carpentry, joinery, plastering, tiling & smaller plumbing & electrical works.

• To carry out or assist with kitchen & bathroom installations & repairs.

• To carry out various small ground works when required, e.g. fencing, paving, installation of handrails.

• To undertake facilities operations • Perform any other duties commensurate with the role, as required by management. Key Skills:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter, with excellent carpentry and joinery skills.

• Competency in general maintenance tasks across multiple trades, including plumbing, electrical works, tiling & groundworks.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.

• To be willing to up-skill & develop, to enable completion of all types of multi-skilled work.

• Strong painting & decorating skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing your workload effectively.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks. • A valid driving license.

• Relevant trade qualifications and certifications are desirable.

• Good written & spoken English skills - essential.

• Experience in HVAC industry – desirable.

• Proven experience in measuring, cutting, threading & assembling various types of pipes (e.g., PVC, copper, galvanized steel). – essential.

• Proven experience in Carpentry & Making Good tasks e.g. patching walls & ceilings, re-tiling & grouting, reinstalling fixtures etc. – essential.

• Full UK driving licence - essential
