Multi-skilled Technician

Opportunity for a proven Technician / Junior Engineer who enjoys skilled hands-on engineering work.

*

Electrically biased position that will see you support with testing, commissioning, maintenance, and installation of specialist equipment.

*

Flexible day shift working hours, scope for progression, and excellent working culture.

Salary & Package: c£35,000 to £40,000 as a guide + 25 days holiday + banks. Wider development opportunities.

This Multi-skilled Technician job will suit:

*

A recent Apprentice within a multiskilled, hands on position.

*

Could suit a proven Technician or practical Engineer who enjoys problem solving and working around various components.

*

Knowledge of circuits, wiring, fault finding, assembly, tooling etc. would all be useful.

*

Comfortable working from technical drawings / schematics to support with assembly, testing, commissioning etc.

*

An eagerness to develop and have a flexible approach to work is important. An individual with the right attitude and character with potential to train.

The Multi-skilled Technician job will involve:

You’ll support the setup, testing, installation, commissioning and maintenance of our advanced electromechanical systems and prototype systems.

*

Install, repair and maintain systems

*

Testing and data capture

*

Relocation and commissioning of prototype equipment

*

Generate reports to support on-going engineering projects

*

Creating/revision of wiring schematics and technical literature to support products

*

Maintain and calibration of test and measuring equipment in the workplace
