Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer
Hereford, England
£42,500 - £44,000 + Overtime Opportunities + Progression + Training + Holiday + Pension
Excellent role on offer for a mechanically biased Shift Engineer, looking to work in a well established, growing company, working on specialised, with overtime opportunities and excellent product specific training.

You will be responsible for efficiency of the engineering operations during each shift, including overseeing the machines, plant and equipment. Therefore, you will also be contributing to preventative maintenance, installs and development of equipment.
The ideal candidate will have mechanical and electrical experience with relevant NVQ/Qualifications. You will have experience with parts such as valves, pumps, motors, gearboxes, you will be familiar with PLC controlled systems and have a good understanding of hydraulic equipment. The Role:
Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance and installs
Ensuring shifts meet planned production targets safely
4 on 4 off alternating Days & Nights (07:00 - 19:00 & 19:00 - 07:00)
£42,500 - £44,000 + Progression + Training + Holiday + PensionThe Person:
Mechanical and Electrical knowledge with relevant qualifications
Good knowledge of hydraulics
Experience working with electrical system (able to fault find, 3 phase systems)
Experience with PLCs would advantage but not essential, training can be provided.
