Multi-skilled Plant Operative (Balfour Beatty – Highways) – Fulltime
An opportunity to work on a major Balfour Beatty Highways project, delivering important infrastructure works over the coming years.
PAYE basis
Competitive rate depending on experience/qualifications
Paid Holidays: 30 days per year (including bank holidays)
Must Have:
* Valid CPCS Card or NPORS with CSCS logo
* Previous experience operating plant on highways or major infrastructure projects
* Multi-skilled plant operating experience
* Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
* Ability to operate plant safely and efficiently
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Reliable and proactive approach to work
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate a range of plant and equipment safely and efficiently
* Carry out general plant operations in support of highways works
* Assist site teams with daily construction activities
* Complete pre-start checks and report any defects
* Follow site procedures and Health & Safety requirements
* Work alongside groundworkers, supervisors and other plant operatives
* Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
* Support the successful delivery of major highways infrastructure works
