This permanent position offers the opportunity to carry out essential maintenance and repairs across a residential property portfolio, providing a vital service while developing your skills within a supportive and safety-focused environment.

The Role As the Multi Skilled Operative, you'll:

Carry out planned and reactive repairs across a range of trades including plumbing, plastering, minor building works, tiling, decorating, drainage, grounds maintenance and general property repairs.
Deliver a high-quality 'Right First Time' service, identifying the best repair solutions while working independently.
Use your technical expertise to support colleagues and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Accurately record completed work, materials used and job updates using electronic and paper-based systems.
Build positive relationships with residents, clients, suppliers and colleagues, delivering exceptional customer service at every opportunity.
Participate in a 1 in 8 on-call rota, including Saturday mornings (8:00am–12:30pm), to provide out-of-hours emergency maintenance support.
Maintain high standards of health and safety while working across multiple sites within the region. You To be successful in the role of Multi Skilled Operative, you'll bring:

Proven experience in multi-trade property maintenance, ideally with plumbing as your core trade.
Good all-round trade skills, including plastering, plumbing, decorating and general building maintenance.
Experience working within domestic housing, social housing or facilities management environments.
A full UK driving licence.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
A customer-focused attitude with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility and reliability to adapt to changing priorities and participate in the on-call rota.
Ability to obtain BPSS security clearance. What's in it for you?
