Multi-Skilled Operative
North Northamptonshire £24.48 per hour (Umbrella) 12–15 Week Contract 37 Hours per Week | Monday to Friday
A leading Local Authority is looking for an experienced Multi Skilled Operative to join their responsive repairs team on a 12–15 week contract covering sickness absence.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a busy social housing maintenance team, carrying out a wide range of reactive repairs across occupied homes. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality repairs while providing excellent customer service to residents.
Key Responsibilities
· Carry out a variety of responsive repairs across occupied social housing properties.
· Complete multi-trade works including carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, brickwork, fencing, flooring and general building maintenance.
· Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently, ensuring work is completed right first time.
· Work independently while managing your own daily workload and company vehicle.
· Deliver a professional, customer-focused service while working in occupied homes.
· Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with current health and safety legislation.
About You
· Minimum 3 years' experience working as a qualified Multi Skilled Operative.
· Strong background in responsive repairs within occupied social housing.
· Competent across a range of trades including carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling and general maintenance.
· Able to work independently in a fast-paced reactive maintenance environment.
· Full UK driving licence (essential).
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
