Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician
Location: Sunderland
Position: Permanent
Shifts: Rotational (Days & Lates) — No weekend working!
Salary: £ 44,745.41per annum, based on 37 hours per week.
Shift allowance is 16 % on late shift

You’ll get to work across a variety of equipment, lead continuous improvement projects, and enjoy a structured, shift-based schedule.
The Shift Patterns:
Days (Mon–Thu): 07:00 – 15:15 \| (Fri): 07:00 – 14:45
Lates (Mon–Thu): 16:20 – 00:35 \| (Fri): 14:55 – 22:40
What You’ll Do
Perform routine and preventative maintenance to maximize plant uptime
Use your diagnosis skills to solve equipment issues and implement smart, long-term solutions.
Carry out machinery overhauls, upgrades, and help commission new equipment.
Conduct risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment.
What We’re Looking For
Time-served with experience in a similar maintenance engineering role.
HNC or EITB accredited time-served apprenticeship.
Strong problem-solving abilities and flexibility to rotate shifts.
Nice-to-haves (but not essential): Experience with PLC Programming (Siemens Step 7), pneumatics, hydraulics, or 17th/18th Edition regulations.
