Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Indurent Park, Pride Park, Derby
Pay Rate: £21.81 - £26.21 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary Ongoing

Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing business based at Indurent Park, Pride Park, Derby.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced production environment, working with advanced manufacturing equipment and supporting the ongoing performance of the site through planned and reactive maintenance activities.
Shift Pattern
Rotating Shifts
Monday to Thursday: 06:00 - 14:30 / 14:30 - 23:00
Friday: 06:00 - 12:00 / 12:00 - 18:00
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across manufacturing equipment.
Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
Support production teams by responding to equipment breakdowns efficiently.
Maintain and service automated presses, conveyors, robotic systems and associated machinery.
Complete maintenance records accurately using maintenance management systems.
Contribute to continuous improvement and engineering projects across the site.
Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety procedures.
Essential Requirements
Previous experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or production environment.
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.
Flexible approach with the ability to work rotating shifts.
Relevant engineering qualification such as NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC/HND, Apprenticeship or equivalent.
Desirable Experience
PLC fault-finding and diagnostics.
Experience working with robotic and automated equipment.
Knowledge of CMMS systems.
Continuous improvement or lean manufacturing experience.
