Description
Carry out routine and preventative maintenance on FMCG production lines
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues swiftly to minimise downtime
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to health and safety regulations
Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including machine operators, team leaders and management
Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment
Contribute to the training and development of junior team members
Keep accurate maintenance records and reportsProfile
A successful Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer should have:
An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Time served apprenticeship
Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in the FMCG industry
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults
A solid understanding of health and safety regulations
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
