Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Sleaford, Lincolnshire
Salary: £51,500 + Overtime
Shift: Permanent Nights – 36 Hours Per Week
The Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and growing food manufacturing business. Operating from a modern production facility, the company continues to invest heavily in its people, equipment and site infrastructure, creating a stable and progressive environment for engineers looking to develop their careers.
Working as part of a highly skilled engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving a wide range of automated production and packaging equipment. The role will involve both reactive and planned maintenance activities, ensuring machinery operates efficiently and downtime is minimised.
Key Responsibilities
Carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance across manufacturing and packaging equipment.
Responding effectively to equipment breakdowns and production issues.
Completing planned preventative maintenance schedules.
Fault finding on automated machinery and production systems.
Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures.

Essential Requirements
Experience working as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment.
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding abilities.
Recognised engineering qualification (Electrical, Mechanical or Multi-Skilled).
Experience carrying out reactive, preventative and breakdown maintenance.
Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced production environment.
Desirable Requirements
Previous experience within food, FMCG, packaging or automated manufacturing environments.
PLC fault-finding experience using inputs and outputs.
Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
