Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Oldbury
Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 14:00

A growing manufacturing business is looking to recruit a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support production across a busy automated site.
This is a hands-on role suited to an engineer with a strong 50/50 electrical and mechanical background, ideally from a manufacturing environment with experience working on conveyors, CNC machinery, motors, sensors and PLC controlled equipment.
The Role
Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across site
Fault finding on CNC machines and PLC controlled conveyors
Working on motors, relays, sensors, belts, bearings and wiring
Supporting machinery reliability and reducing downtime
Encouraging and improving planned preventative maintenance activities
Assisting with continuous improvement projects
Maintaining engineering standards within the toolroom and maintenance stores
Supporting stock control of engineering spares and consumablesRequirements
Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer background
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
Experience within manufacturing, production, glass, FMCG or industrial environments
Comfortable working on PLC controlled machinery
Able to work independently and within a team
Proactive approach to maintenance and housekeeping
