About the Role: We are recruiting for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team. This permanent position involves maintaining production equipment through both reactive and planned maintenance.
The Company
A very well established automotive first tier supplier with a full order book for the next 8 years.
Typical Duties:
* Reactive Maintenance: Quickly respond to and repair breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
* Planned Maintenance: Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
* Equipment Upgrades: Install and commission new machinery and upgrades.
* Diagnostics: Use technical skills to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to enhance production efficiency and equipment performance.
* Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work completed and parts used.
* Collaboration: Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
Shift Pattern:
* Weekly rotation:
* Early: 6am - 2pm
* Late: 2pm - 10pm
* Night: 10pm - 6am
Compensation and Benefits:
* Salary: £45,800 (including shift allowance)
* Plenty of Overtime Available:
* Time & a third during the week
* Time and a half on Saturdays
* Double time on Sundays
* 37.5-hour working week
