Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Leeds
Salary: £53,000 - £58,000 + Benefits
Shift Pattern: 4 On 4 Off (Days & Nights)

The Opportunity
A leading UK manufacturer is seeking a skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join its high-performing engineering team at a state-of-the-art production facility in Leeds.

Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities
Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults
Respond quickly and effectively to equipment breakdowns
Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site
Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to reduce recurring equipment failures
Maintain accurate maintenance records using a CMMS system
Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime
Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety procedures
Skills & Experience
Completed Engineering Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent
Previous experience within FMCG, food manufacturing, beverage, packaging, pharmaceutical, or other fast-paced manufacturing environments
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
Experience with automated production equipment and PLC-controlled machinery
Knowledge of conveyors, motors, drives, sensors, pumps, and pneumatics
Experience using SAP PM, Maximo, Pirana, Shire, CMMS, or similar maintenance systems
Able to work effectively within a 24/7 manufacturing operation
