Shift: Monday – Friday, 3-shift rotating pattern (6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm / 10pm–6am)

Job Role – Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician
A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join a state-of-the-art, fully automated manufacturing facility in Wakefield.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional looking to develop their technical skills within a fast-paced, modern manufacturing environment. As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across a range of automated production machinery. You will play a key role in maintaining equipment reliability, minimising downtime and ensuring production runs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across automated production machinery.
Respond to electrical and mechanical breakdowns and carry out effective fault-finding.
Diagnose and repair faults to minimise production downtime.
Complete reactive and planned maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Work proactively to identify potential equipment failures and improve machine reliability.
Support continuous improvement and engineering projects across the site.
Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with company procedures.
Non-Negotiable Requirements
Previous multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Strong hands-on electrical maintenance and fault-finding experience.
Experience carrying out planned, preventative, reactive and breakdown maintenance.
Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced production environment.
Desirable Experience
Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Technician within the UK manufacturing sector.
Experience working with automated production machinery.
Mechanical maintenance and fault-finding experience alongside a strong electrical skill set.
