Description:
We’re hiring for an Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a skilled and experienced workforce at an ultra-modern manufacturing facility based in Stockport.
What’s on offer?
* £44,000 - £48,000 p/a
* Mon – Fri | 8:15 am – 4:30 pm
* Early finish on Fridays
* 35 hour week
* Overtime available (paid at 1.5X)

What will you be doing as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer?
* Carrying out scheduled, planned, reactive and preventative maintenance activities.
* Ensuring assets and equipment are available to operative for the correct level of activity needed for manufacturing.
* Providing in depth knowledge on PLC, invertors and drives to fault diagnostics, maintenance and repairs
* Investigating breakdowns by generating reports, fault find, use diagnostic skills and provide leadership, support and technical support.
* Writing reports that inputting problem solving solutions, identify root causes and asses safety, reliability and performance.
* Working closely with line managers to assess failed techniques
* Working closely with line managers and variety of departments to minimise production disruptions and downtime.
What do you need?
* Experience with CNC machine maintenance
* In depth knowledge of PLC, invertors, and drives
* Previous experience in report writing
* The ability to demonstrate problem solving and discuss/demonstrate techniques
* Previously worked in a modern lean manufacturing environment
