Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Pontefract, West Yorkshire
£50k – £55k per annum
Permanent,
3 days on, 3 days off rotating shift pattern
12-hour shifts:
Days: 6:00am – 6:00pm
Nights: 6:00pm – 6:00am
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a highly automated food manufacturing operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining production equipment, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, diagnosing faults, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and implement effective corrective actions.
Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimise production downtime.
Ensure all maintenance work complies with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
Candidate Requirements
Minimum 5 years' experience as a qualified Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer.
HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent engineering qualification
