Questech Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Elland.
Location: Elland, West Yorkshire
Salary: £46,800 per annum
Shifts: 4 Days On, 4 Days Off, 4 Nights On, 4 Days Off
Job Type: Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
*
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
*
Fault finding and diagnosing electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
*
Maintaining and repairing production machinery to minimise downtime.
*
Working with motors, drives, conveyors, hydraulics and pneumatics.
*
Supporting continuous improvement projects across the site.
*
Ensuring all maintenance activities comply with health and safety standards.
*
Working closely with production teams to ensure machinery operates efficiently.
The Person
*
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
*
Previous experience working as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or production environment.
*
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
*
Experience with planned and reactive maintenance.
*
Knowledge of PLC fault finding would be advantageous.
*
Ability to work independently and as part of an engineering team.
*
Flexible and comfortable working a rotating days and nights shift pattern
