Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a permanent role with a competitive salary and overall earning potential

We are looking for an experienced and practical Maintenance Engineer to join our client’s team at a busy factory in Bridgnorth. The role involves maintaining and repairing plant equipment, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, and resolving mechanical and electrical faults. The position offers a competitive salary, a four-on, four-off Day shift pattern, overtime opportunities and access to funded training.

Location: Bridgnorth, West Midlands
Salary: £50,500 per annum + overtime at time-and-a-half (60K Region)
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off – Days only

The Role

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, fault-finding and repairing a wide range of mechanical and electrical plant equipment to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the facility.

Key responsibilities include:

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs.
Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults.
Maintaining pumps, conveyors, motors, hydraulics and pneumatic systems.
Fault-finding on three-phase electrical systems, control circuits, inverters and control panels.
Supporting general plant and site maintenance activities.
Ensuring equipment operates safely, reliably and efficiently.
Following site health and safety procedures and maintaining high engineering standards.
What We're Looking For

A strong mechanical maintenance background, including pumps, conveyors, hydraulics and pneumatics.
Experience with three-phase electrical systems and control circuit fault-finding.
An NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, 18th Edition qualification, or relevant City & Guilds certification.
Experience working within an industrial or process plant environment.
At least one year of mechanical maintenance experience.
A full UK driving licence and your own transport.
The ability to live within approximately 25 miles of the Bridgnorth site.

Welding experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
Current or recent experience as shift maintenance engineer, multi-skilled maintenance engineer, maintenance engineer, plant maintenance engineer, electrical maintenance engineer, service engineer

Salary, Shifts & Benefits

£50,500 annual salary (£60K with additional hours available)
Permanent, full-time employment.
Four on / four off (DAYS)
Overtime paid at time-and-a-half.
On-call rota with an additional allowance once trained.
