Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Tewkesbury

Salary: Up to £20.59 per hour + Excellent Benefits

Annual Salary- £43,820

The Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring production equipment operates safely and efficiently. Working as part of a team of six engineers, you'll carry out planned preventative maintenance, respond to equipment breakdowns and support continuous improvement across the site.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production machinery.

Respond quickly and effectively to equipment breakdowns.

Maintain low-voltage electrical systems, including 24V, single-phase and three-phase equipment.

Diagnose and repair electrical faults on control panels and production machinery.

Carry out mechanical and electrical fault finding to minimise downtime.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve plant reliability and performance.

Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to maintain high operational standards.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

A recognised electrical engineering qualification.

Experience working with industrial machinery within a manufacturing, food production or similar environment.

Strong electrical fault-finding skills with a good understanding of mechanical systems.

Experience with automated production equipment (highly desirable).

A proactive approach to maintenance and problem solving.

The ability to work effectively within a fast-paced production environment.

Working Hours

This position operates on a two-week rotating shift pattern:

Week 1

Monday to Friday: 6:00am – 2:00pm

Saturday: 6:00am – 2:00pm

Week 2

Monday to Friday: 1:45pm – 9:45pm
