Location: Ilkeston, Derbyshire
Salary: £50,400 (including shift allowance) & Excellent Benefits
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, Continental Days & Nights (07:00–19:00 / 19:00–07:00)

Due to continued growth and investment in their Engineering team, they are now seeking a skilled and motivated Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their industrial recycling facility in Ilkeston.

What Will You Do?
As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in minimizing downtime and ensuring the smooth running of the site. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance (PPM) systems across both mechanical plant and electrical equipment.
* Leading breakdown maintenance, including complex fault finding on industrial and process control systems.
* Maintaining DC motors, associated drives, and process control equipment.
* Executing electrical and mechanical installation work and repairs on industrial recycling plant and machinery.
What Do We Need?
To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong blend of electrical and mechanical skills, alongside:
* Experience of working within an industrial environment on large machines, plant and equipment.
* A recognised Electrical / Mechanical maintenance apprenticeship or training scheme qualification (Level 3 or equivalent).
* Proven experience in both mechanical and electrical installation and maintenance within an industrial environment.
* The ability to understand and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
* Previous hands-on experience with the maintenance and repair of PLC systems. You don’t need to be a PLC programmer but know your way around these systems.
* A full UK driving license.
