Multi Skilled Joiner

Description:

IMH Recruitment are currently recruiting for experienced Multi Skilled Joiners to work for our client within the social housing sector across the Bury area, BL2.

Duties Include:

* Carrying out all aspects of joinery repairs and maintenance in tenanted and void properties

* Kitchen fitting, refurbishment and installation works

* Repairs and maintenance to uPVC windows and composite doors

* First and second fix joinery

* Door, frame, lock and window repairs

* Flooring, skirting, architraves and general carpentry works

* Minor plumbing associated with kitchen and bathroom installations

* Basic plaster patching, tiling and general multi-trade repairs

* Responsive repairs, planned maintenance and void property reinstatement

* Using PDA/tablet systems to manage and update work orders

* Ensuring excellent customer service and high-quality workmanship

* Working safely and in line with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

* Time-served Joiner or relevant NVQ qualification

* Minimum 3 years' experience within the building industry

* Previous social housing experience preferred

* Strong multi-trade skills with a joinery bias

* Experience repairing uPVC windows and composite doors

* Ability to carry out minor plumbing and maintenance tasks

* Experience using PDA/tablet job management systems

* Full UK Driving Licence (maximum 3 points)

* Own tools essential

* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

Desirable:

* CSCS Card

* Multi-skilling qualification

* Experience maintaining council housing and public buildings

* HIAB, CPC or Tachograph licences

Hours & Pay:

* Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

* £23.00 - £25.00 per hour

* Weekly pay via agency!
