Multi-Skilled Handyperson
Location: Rochdale
Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time, Ongoing
Start Date: 3rd November
Pay Rate: £20 per hour CIS
Our client, a leading provider of Build to Rent accommodation in Rochdale, is looking for an experienced and reliable Multi-Skilled Handyperson to join their maintenance team on an ongoing part-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative, Handyperson, Maintenance Technician or Property Maintenance Worker with practical experience across a range of general building and maintenance tasks.
The Multi-Skilled Handyperson Role
You will be responsible for carrying out general maintenance and repairs across a large Build to Rent accommodation site, ensuring properties and communal areas are kept to a high standard.
Multi-Skilled Handyperson Duties may include:
General property maintenance and repairs
Basic plumbing and minor repairs
Painting and decorating
Silicone and sealant work
Minor electrical maintenance
Repairs to rooms and accommodation
Basic grounds maintenance
Waste and bin management
General upkeep of communal areas
Identifying and reporting maintenance issues
Completing a variety of ad-hoc maintenance tasks
About the Multi-Skilled Handyperson
We are looking for a practical, reliable and hands-on Multi-Skilled Handyperson who can work independently and use their initiative.
You should have:
Previous experience in property maintenance, facilities maintenance, accommodation maintenance or a similar role
Good all-round maintenance and repair skills
Experience across several trades
A proactive approach and good attention to detail
The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good communication and customer service skills
Experience in Build to Rent, student accommodation, residential property, hotels or hospitality would be advantageous
A DBS is preferred but not essential
Availability to start 3rd November
