We’re looking for an experienced Static Electrical Engineer ⚡ to join a leading Facilities Management organisation based in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and self-sufficient engineer who enjoys taking ownership of their work and delivering high-quality electrical services within a static site environment. ????
Working independently ????‍♂️, you will play a key role in maintaining electrical systems, ensuring compliance, and providing an excellent service to both clients and contractors. ????
???? What you'll be doing:
✔️ Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical systems ⚡????
✔️ Installing, inspecting, and maintaining electrical equipment in accordance with current regulations ????
✔️ Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults to ensure minimal disruption ????️
✔️ Managing your own workload and working independently on site ????‍♂️
✔️ Liaising effectively with clients and contractors to ensure smooth day-to-day operations ????
✔️ Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with Health & Safety procedures ????
✔️ Reporting progress and escalating any issues promptly ????
✔️ Maintaining accurate records and completing all necessary documentation ????
✔️ Delivering a high standard of workmanship and customer service ⭐
???? What we're looking for:
⭐ Essential:
⚡ 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
???? NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification
???? AM2 (Achievement Measurement 2) qualification
???? Proven experience working as an Electrical Engineer within Facilities Management or Building Services environments
???? Strong electrical fault-finding, diagnostics, and maintenance skills
????‍♂️ Ability to work confidently and independently on site
???? Excellent communication skills with experience liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams
???? Strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements, safe working practices, and compliance standards
???? Reliable, proactive, and highly organised approach to work
⭐ Desirable:
???? Experience within commercial building services or static FM environments
???? Knowledge of compliance procedures and statutory maintenance requirements
???? Additional multi-skilled experience
