Job Role of the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a strong Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Aston Clinton.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to develop their technical skills within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining production equipment, minimising downtime and ensuring machinery operates safely and efficiently.
You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and breakdown repairs across a range of manufacturing machinery. The role will involve both mechanical and electrical fault-finding, with a strong emphasis on mechanical engineering.
Sector – Factory Maintenance FMCG
Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Multi-skilled maintenance experience with a mechanical bias.
Experience working within any manufacturing environment.
Minimum Level 3 engineering qualification.
Requirements for the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Hands-on experience carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and breakdown repairs.
Strong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Experience maintaining and repairing industrial production machinery.
Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Willingness to work a rotating days and nights shift pattern.
Desirable Requirements for the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within the UK.
Electrical fault-finding experience alongside strong mechanical skills.
Experience working with automated production machinery.
A proactive approach to continuous improvement and equipment reliability.
