Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Avonmouth
Salary: £40,000 – £49,500
Shift: Monday to Friday (Shift Rota)
Job Role of the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical bias to join a well-established business based in Avonmouth.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to develop their career within a varied maintenance role. You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, electrical and mechanical fault-finding, breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance to ensure maximum equipment uptime.
The business is open to candidates from a range of backgrounds, including manufacturing, industrial, warehousing and the Armed Forces, providing they have the relevant transferable engineering skills and qualifications.
Sector – Industrial Maintenance
Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
· Multi-skilled maintenance experience with a strong electrical bias.
· Minimum Level 3 electrical engineering qualification or equivalent.
· Experience carrying out electrical fault-finding and maintenance.
· Background within manufacturing, industrial, warehousing or the Armed Forces.
Requirements for the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
· Experience with planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and breakdown repairs.
· Ability to fault-find on electrical and mechanical systems.
· A proactive approach to maintenance and problem-solving.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Requirements for the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
· Experience maintaining industrial machinery or equipment.
· Knowledge of continuous improvement and preventative maintenance strategies.
