Multi-skilled Engineer - DAYS
Open to either mechanical or electrical bias
Spexhall area (Commutable across most of Suffolk, and south Norfolk)
4 on 4 off day shifts
£50k
My client who are an award winning, nationally recognised food manufacturer, are seeking a number of Multi Skilled Engineers to join their large engineering team.
It is an ideal role for a multi-skilled engineer with a passion for improvements and improving reliability in a factory setting.
Typical responsibilities include –
* Maintain and enhance the performance of plant and equipment (both reactive and PPM)
* Establishing root cause analysis (RCA) throughout the factory
* Both short and long term fixes across all breakdowns
* Planned Preventive maintenance, complete all allocated P.M.’s in the set time frame
* Providing a high quality engineering service to both engineering and production teams
* Ensure engineering downtime is accurately logged, monitor repair times, and find new methods / procedures to reduce these
* Training Production staff
The ideal candidate will be –
* An engineer with a background in the food, FMCG or manufacturing industry, with good experience of carrying out PPMs
* Ideally multiskilled - open to either bias
* Strong mechanical understanding and appreciation
* A passion for reliability / improvements. Experience in this field is not a necessity as full training is offered, what is required is an interest to develop in the field
* Experience with CMMS
