Location: Coventry
Salary: £50,000
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm
The Opportunity
We are recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a manufacturing business in Coventry.
This is an opportunity for an electrically biased engineer to join an established engineering team, carrying out maintenance, fault-finding and machinery improvements across the site.
The Role
Working closely with the production and engineering teams, you will be responsible for keeping machinery and equipment running efficiently. The site is continuing to develop its automation, so electrical fault-finding and the ability to diagnose issues across production equipment will be particularly important.
Your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across production machinery and equipment.
Responding to breakdowns and completing reactive maintenance to minimise downtime.
Diagnosing and fault-finding electrical and mechanical issues.
Working on automated production machinery and associated equipment.
Identifying recurring faults and supporting improvements to equipment reliability.
Working alongside production teams to resolve engineering issues.
Ensuring maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with site procedures.
About You
Previous experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or production environment.
Strong electrical bias, with good mechanical maintenance capabilities.
Confident carrying out electrical fault-finding and diagnosing machinery breakdowns.
Experience with both planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
Good understanding of automated production machinery and industrial equipment.
A practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
Relevant engineering qualifications or an apprenticeship would be advantageous.
The Package
Salary of £50,000.
Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm.
Based in Coventry.
