Multi-Skilled Engineer | Historic London Estate
£47,000 + generous benefits | Fully site-based
Following a retirement, a professional membership organisation with a historic estate in central London is looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join its Works Department. This is a varied, hands-on opportunity covering planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding and installations across electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems, including boilers, air handling units, pumps and motors.
What you'll bring: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a recognised engineering discipline, solid post-qualification building services maintenance experience, and confidence working across electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems. You'll be comfortable using BMS and CAFM systems, resolving faults independently and working with colleagues and contractors.
The package: £47,000 salary, a 12.5% non-contributory pension, free lunch, private medical insurance, paid overtime, laundered uniform, ongoing training and death-in-service cover of six times salary. Generous annual leave is advertised as 30+ days including closure periods.
Hours: 40 hours per week, including paid breaks totalling one hour per day. Eight-hour shifts between 8am and 5pm, working five days out of six, Monday to Saturday. This role is fully site-based, with no hybrid working.
