Location: Clitheroe
Salary: Up to £47,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time
Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 1:30pm-10pm

We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing company in Clitheroe. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineer to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the efficiency and reliability of production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform reactive and proactive maintenance across a range of packaging and process equipment.
Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks as directed.
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment faults to minimise downtime and maintain production flow.
Work closely with Line Leaders and Production teams to optimise operational efficiency and equipment uptime.
Carry out general building and facilities maintenance across the site.
Maintain accurate documentation and records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, and PPMs, ensuring departmental paperwork is complete and up to date.
Support projects involving machinery upgrades, installations, and site improvement works.
Identify and manage spare parts requirements, maintaining appropriate stock levels.
Communicate technical and operational issues promptly to relevant departments.
Attend meetings and deputise for the Senior Engineer when required.
Lead maintenance and improvement projects to agreed deadlines.
Comply with all Health & Safety policies, procedures, and best practices at all times.Requirements:

Relevant industry qualification (e.g. HNC/ONC/NVQ in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering).
Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing, production or FMCG environment.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.Desirable Skills:

FMCG experience.
Packaging machinery experience.
