Nelson Permanent Placements are currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Engineer to work for our client who provide facilities services to their client who is a global food manufacturer.
Working directly on a key client’s Industrial site facilities team, this role involves supporting facilities operations & production Engineering Maintenance in a total support service.
You will be working in conjunction with site Management and the Client Team in the planning, coordination and completion of day-to-day maintenance repairs and operations, planned services.
To be considered for this role you must be experienced working with both Building utilities & Production equipment.
You will be responsible for supporting the site with Mechanical, HVAC & Electrical needs.
Days- Monday –Friday
Working hours – 8.00-16.30
Responsibilities:
* Undertake planned preventative maintenance across all types of non-core equipment.
* Carry out repairs on all aspects of the equipment, showing good technical knowledge and displaying safe and effective fault diagnosis and repairs.
* Assist with plant and equipment improvements which contribute toward site improvements; health and safety and/or technical corrective actions.
Qualifications:
* Proven time and experience as either a Refrigeration, Electrical or Mechanical engineer/technician working in commercial and industrial sectors.
* Experience in food manufacturing.
