I'm recruiting for an Electrically Biased Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business in Boston. This is a permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary, a popular 4 on / 4 off shift pattern and the chance to join a stable engineering team supporting a busy production operation.
If you enjoy fault finding, getting equipment back up and running and working on a variety of production machinery, this is a role where no two shifts are the same.
What you'll be doing
Responding to electrical and mechanical breakdowns to keep production moving
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across site
Fault finding on electrical systems and PLC-controlled equipment
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults where required
Working with production teams to minimise downtime and improve reliability
Completing maintenance records and supporting continuous improvement
Maintaining high standards of health & safety
What we're looking for
Electrically biased Multi-Skilled Engineer
Level 3 Engineering qualification (or equivalent)
Strong electrical fault-finding ability
Experience working with PLC-controlled machinery
Mechanical maintenance experience
Background within food manufacturing, FMCG or another fast-paced production environment
Comfortable working a 4 on / 4 off days and nights shift pattern
