Job role: Multi Skilled Engineer
£50,000 Per Annum + Overtime - Company Benefits
Monday - Friday
We have partnered with a specialist manufacturing company leading the way in product innovation. After sustained business growth, they are now looking to develop their engineering team to support production demands.
As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you will work closely with the production and engineering teams to minimise downtime, resolve equipment issues and ensure preventative maintenance is completed to a high standard.
The main responsibilities of the Multi Skilled Engineer will include-
* Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of manufacturing machinery and process equipment.
* Ensuring production machinery is maintained, safe and fully functional, including conveyors, robotics, automated systems and associated production equipment.
* Diagnosing and repairing both electrical and mechanical faults to minimise production downtime.
* Using a structured approach to fault finding, diagnostics and root-cause analysis.
* Completing scheduled PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) activities in line with the site maintenance programme.
* Accurately recording maintenance activities, faults, parts used and any required follow-up work.
* Responding quickly and effectively to breakdowns and supporting production to restore equipment to service safely.
