Description:
Our client is a leading supplier of Fresh Produce based in Kings Lynn, due to their continued growth and development they are seeking to employ a temporary Multi Drop Driver to start asap.
Initially 3-4 weeks, however, potentially could be longer for the right candidate.
Purpose of the role
Deliverying goods to customers in a 3.5-ton van in a courteous and compliant manner to maintain a high level of presentation at all times, due to the job being a customer facing role.
Approx. 15-20 drops per day.
Hours will be: 4am/6am starts until finish, usually 8 hours per day.
Salary is £12.45 per hour.
Duties and responsibilities:
To deliver goods in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner whilst ensuring that specific customer delivery instructions and needs are met.
To maintain a clean vehicle both inside and out projecting a positive company image and meeting compliance requirements.
Report any order anomalies or quality issues to your line manager as soon as they are apparent.
To be aware of and monitor Critical Control Points (refrigeration temperature).
To adhere to all company health and safety protocols.
Liaise with the compliance team ensuring that food hygiene and STS requirements are met.
Liaise with the sales team with regards to any customer requests or feedback.
To have read and understood all elements of the “Drivers Job Spec”.
Secondary Responsibilities.
To aid other operational areas when requested and able to do so.
Necessary for the role:
Previous experience in a van driving role – multi drops.
UK Driving licence – minimum 6 points.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
