Description:

My client based in the North West are looking for a SQL Developer on an intial 6 month contract.

You will be working on a hybrid basis of which you will be required to be on site 2 days a week.

You will be working on a busy team of which you will be involved in the development of the SQL Server and Transact SQL.

You will

review performance of existing code in Stored Procedures and functions in order to identify issues of performance
review code within existing stored procedures in order to identify ways to improve development practices, such as utilising more up to date approaches as much of the code was written using SQL Server 2008
speak to business stakeholders who will highlight their areas of concern
improve monitoring and reporting of SQL server job
document existing processes and jobsWIth excellent SQL Devleopment experience, especially with SQL 2008 to 2022, you must have

Stored procedures and function calls
Management and monitoring of SQL jobs
Use of database mail
Monitoring and improving performance of SQL codeTHIS POSITION IS INSIDE OF IR35 AS SUCH YOU WILL NEED TO BE ENGAGED VIA AN UMBRELLA COMPANY
