Key Responsibilities:
Safely install, set up, and remove moulds from injection and extrusion machines.
Supervise department personnel to ensure high-quality manufacturing according to work orders and authorised drawings.
Organise daily workloads and allocate tasks, with a focus on export orders and seasonal/absence-related needs.
Liaise daily with the Operations Manager to address department issues and needs.
Conduct and document inspections of incoming materials, reporting defects to the Production Buyer and Manager.
Requirements:
Proven experience in moulding supervision, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Strong organisational and leadership skills.
Ability to enforce safety policies and maintain high standards of work.
Excellent communication skills for daily liaison with management and team members.
Attention to detail for inspecting materials and products.
