Motor Assist Manager - Hybrid working

Great opportunity for a Motor Assist Manager (Operations) to join our team here at AX.  As the Motor Assist Manager you role will assist the Head of Motor Assist in the development and deployment as the business unit moves to a phase of sustained growth within the Fleet, Automotive and Insurance sectors.

The role will take responsibility and accountability for Operational KPI’s aligned to their team, Good understanding of Motor Claims Management Platforms to best manage Operational tasks, be a link between Sales and Operations & support new client implementations planning, processes and reporting. 
 
AX Motor Assist

At the end of 2021 we launched our incident management service, AX Motor Assist.
 
Supporting fleet and leasing companies and their customers, as well as commercial and private-lines insurance brokers and their clients, franchise dealer groups and OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), AX Motor Assist is a technology-driven, end-to-end claims management service – from First Notice of Loss (FNOL) , through to vehicle repair and completion of the claim, AX Motor Assist will support fleets and their drivers through every step by arranging roadside recovery when required, organising replacement mobility & minimising vehicle downtime through effective repair methods 
 
As the Motor Assist Manager, your responsibilities will include:
 
·          Effectively manage the delivery of end-to-end Fleet, Automotive and Insurer Accident Management Processes and general operational claims functions in line with contractual, SLA and key performance requirements.  
·          Excellent communication skills and a history of managing large teams in a fast-paced environment  
·          Lead, develop and motivate a team to ensure all colleagues are working to and achieving agreed targets. 
·          Develop a robust resourcing plan to mitigate risk especially for peak or red alert events.  
·          A great understanding of Fleet, Automotive, Insurance and Repair sectors 
·          Produce and maintain processes and procedures for all operational services.   
·          Take a proactive approach to process improvement and highlight and present risks to process and procedures. 
 
Our Motor Assist Manager will bring the following skills and experiences to our team:
·        Demonstrable experience working within the Motor Accident Management & Insurance claims industry within a similar role. 
·        Confident communicator 
·        Ability to work unsupervised using own initiative.  
·        Experience in building and leading multi-disciplined teams.  
·        Experience in managing, training, and developing people. 
·        Experienced in process improvement and adherence techniques. 
·        In-depth understanding of the processing required to deliver an end-to-end motor claims service. 
·        Ability to maintain both internal and external stakeholder relationships.    
·        The ability to design, understand and interpret MI. 
·        Good Knowledge of industry software, e.g., Claims Platforms, BMS, Caps, Audatex. 
·        A commercially aware with the ability to help shape the future of the product and grow the business.
