Salary: £36,000 – £42,000
Hours: Monday to Friday
Contract: Full-Time | Permanent
Experienced MOT Tester / Mechanic wanted for a busy, well-run workshop.
This is a full-time, permanent role offering strong earning potential, regular bonus opportunities and long-term stability.
You’ll be carrying out MOT testing alongside general mechanical work, with a steady flow of vehicles and a good team around you.
No unnecessary dealership politics. Just a busy workshop, consistent work and a straightforward role.
The role of an MOT Tester / Mechanic:
* MOT testing in line with DVSA standards
* Servicing and maintenance
* Brakes, suspension, exhausts and general repairs
* Tyres and wheel alignment
* Diagnostics and fault finding
* Identifying additional work where genuinely needed

What We're Looking For
* Valid MOT licence
* Green RAG Rating - Preferred
* Experience as an MOT Tester, Vehicle Technician or Mechanic
* Confident carrying out both MOTs and mechanical repairs
* Good mechanical knowledge
* Reliable team player
* Full UK driving licence
