The Role
As an MOT Tester / Diagnostic Technician, you'll play a key role within the workshop, carrying out MOT inspections, advanced diagnostics and mechanical repairs while ensuring vehicles meet the highest safety and manufacturer standards.

Your responsibilities will include:
·Carrying out Class 4 MOT inspections in line with DVSA standards
·Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment
·Completing fault finding and identifying effective repair solutions
·Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work where required
·Completing repairs including brakes, suspension, clutches, timing belts and wet belt replacements
·Maintaining accurate workshop documentation and MOT records
·Advising customers on vehicle condition and recommended repairs
·Working closely with the workshop team to maintain high levels of productivity and customer satisfaction

About You
This opportunity would suit an MOT Tester / Diagnostic Technician / Master Technician / Vehicle Technician who has:
·A valid MOT Tester licence (preferred, but training can be provided for the right candidate)
·Strong diagnostic and fault-finding experience
·Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician within the automotive industry
·Confident mechanical repair and servicing skills
·Experience using diagnostic equipment
·A full UK Driving Licence
·Your own tools (specialist workshop equipment is provided)
·A positive attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
