We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a highly skilled MOT Tester to join a reputable automotive workshop in Swadlincote.
This is a full-time vacancy offering a salary between £37,000 and £41,000 per annum. The MOT Tester role presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional seeking stability within a well-established and professional environment.

Full-time position with part-time options available on a pro-rata basis
5-day working week, Monday to Friday, with Saturday work
Saturday hours from 8:00am to 5:00pm, with a weekday off when working Saturday

Conduct MOT tests in strict accordance with DVSA regulations and standards
Identify faults, defects, and safety issues during inspections
Record MOT results accurately and complete all necessary documentation
Ensure all vehicles meet legal safety and roadworthiness standards
Work efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship
Maintain a safe, professional approach to all testing procedures
Collaborate effectively with the workshop team to ensure smooth operationRequirements:
Valid MOT Tester licence – essential
Proven experience as an MOT Tester within a busy workshop environment
Strong knowledge of MOT testing procedures and DVSA requirements
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Professional and reliable work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
