Description:
We are recruiting for an experienced MOT Tester, Vehicle Tester or Automotive MOT Tester to join a busy, modern workshop. Applicants must hold a current MOT Tester Licence and a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. Previous MOT testing experience and a strong understanding of DVSA standards are essential.

Salary: Up to £35,103 basic per annum, plus bonus and overtime

MOT Tester Role
Carry out MOT testing in accordance with DVSA regulations
Complete vehicle safety checks and inspections
Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs where required
Perform diagnostics and warranty repairs where appropriately qualified
Maintain accurate digital job cards and MOT documentation
Work closely with Vehicle Technicians and workshop colleagues
Maintain high standards of workmanship and Health & Safety
MOT Tester Requirements
Current MOT Tester Licence
Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent
Previous experience as an MOT Tester or Vehicle Tester
Strong knowledge of DVSA testing regulations
Good mechanical knowledge and attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently within a busy workshop
Excellent teamwork and customer service standards
