Rapier Employment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-run automotive business in Steventon, Oxfordshire, for an experienced MOT Tester to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified MOT Tester looking to join a friendly and professional garage that values quality workmanship, customer service, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out MOT tests in line with DVSA standards.
Conduct vehicle inspections and identify any faults or repairs required.
Complete MOT documentation accurately and efficiently.
Assist with light vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repair work when required.
Deliver excellent customer service and maintain high workshop standards.Requirements
Level 2 Award in MOT Testing (essential).
Level 3 qualification in Automotive Repair or equivalent hands-on experience.
Full UK driving licence.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm (1-hour lunch break).
Alternate Saturday mornings required, with time off in lieu during the week.
