Our client, a well-established volume main dealer in Exeter, is looking to appoint a professional and experienced MOT Tester. Duties of the MOT Tester role:
* Conduct MOT testing in accordance with DVSA standards, adhering to company quality protocols
* Perform general vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostics
* Identify and rectify mechanical and electrical faults across a variety of vehicles
* Complete accurate paperwork and maintain detailed records of all work carried out
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workshop environment
* Support colleagues with technical advice and contribute to team productivity
Requirements for the MOT Tester role:
* Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle Technology or equivalent
* Valid MOT licence
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience working within a dealership or workshop environment
* Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills, with excellent attention to detail
* Reliable, efficient, and committed to delivering high-quality service
* Organised with good record-keeping abilities and a focus on health and safety standards
