MOT Tester
Location – Dover, Kent
Salary – £35,000 Basic
Working Hours – Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm, plus 1 in 3 Saturdays

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced MOT Tester to join a busy and established main dealership in the Dover area. This is a great opportunity for a qualified MOT Tester looking to join a supportive workshop with excellent benefits, ongoing training and genuine long-term career progression. The successful MOT Tester will be responsible for carrying out Class 4 MOT tests to DVSA standards, alongside vehicle inspections and light servicing and maintenance when required.

Carry out Class 4 MOT tests in accordance with current DVSA regulations.
Complete thorough vehicle inspections and identify any repair requirements.
Carry out light servicing and maintenance work when required.
Ensure all MOT testing documentation is completed accurately.
Maintain full compliance with DVSA standards and procedures.
Liaise with Vehicle Technicians and Service Advisors regarding identified repairs.
Carry out road tests when necessary.
Maintain high levels of productivity while ensuring excellent quality standards.
Keep the workshop and MOT testing areas clean, organised and compliant with Health & Safety requirements.MOT Tester Requirements
Current and valid MOT Tester Licence – essential.
Minimum 2 years' experience working as an MOT Tester.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Good understanding of current DVSA regulations and testing procedures.
Ability to work efficiently while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Experience within a dealership or busy workshop environment would be advantageous.
