Description:
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable independent garage in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, for the position of MOT Tester. This is a well-established operation seeking a skilled professional to join their dedicated workshop team.
The ideal MOT Tester will have a valid MOT licence and be experienced in carrying out Class 4 MOT tests to DVSA standards. The role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a modern 10-ramp workshop while maintaining a strong work/life balance, with no weekend shifts required.
Benefits for the Successful MOT Tester:
Salary circa £40,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience
Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00am – 5:00pm
No weekend working
28 days holiday, including bank holidays

Conduct Class 4 MOT tests in accordance with DVSA regulations
Complete all MOT documentation accurately and professionally
Identify and report vehicle defects clearly and effectively
Assist with light servicing and repairs when necessary
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
Deliver high standards of workmanship and customer serviceRequirements:
Valid MOT Tester licence (essential)
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (essential)
Experience in an independent garage or similar workshop setting
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Ability to work effectively within a team
